Complete the Pre-Insemination/Breeding Information Form. Submit a copy of vaccine records to vth_reproduction@colostate.edu.
Distemper, parvovirus, and rabies vaccinations must be up to date prior to breeding.

Email us to schedule a pre-breeding exam for initial bloodwork. We recommend scheduling the first progesterone appointment five to seven days after first signs of heat.
- Initial blood work includes progesterone, brucellosis test, and any other health profile you would like run prior to breeding.
- We must have samples submitted to the lab before 1 p.m. to get same-day results. We can run bloodwork in the afternoon for next-day results.
- Initial results for any cultures taken will be available in three to five business days; final results will be available in 7-14 business days.

After each progesterone appointment we will email you results as soon as we have them. We will give our recommendations and schedule any follow-ups at that time.
