About Jason

Dr. Bleedorn is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who joined the CSU team in 2022. He is passionate about providing high-quality orthopedic care for pets through innovations in research and technology, as well as teaching veterinarians, surgery residents, and students. His clinical and research interests include bone deformity correction, 3D modeling/printing, biomechanics, and arthroscopic surgery. In addition to teaching at CSU, Dr. Bleedorn is an instructor for AOVet, Arthrex, and IMEX continuing education. Dr. Bleedorn’s academic training includes a veterinary degree (University of Illinois), internships (Purdue and Dallas Surgical Center), and residency and M.S. degree (University of Wisconsin). He was on faculty at UW for 10 years prior to moving to Colorado.
