[email protected]About Christine
Christine is returning to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital after 3 years at CSU Health Network in Human Resources. Christine previously worked 12 years supporting the Administration team at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH). She has experience with many of the functions at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and is excited to return.
Christine will be the Service Excellence Referring DVM Coordinator for the Colorado State University (CSU) Veterinary Health System. Christine will be serving as the primary liaison between referring veterinarians and our specialty services. Her role is central to ensuring a seamless and professional referral process that supports both the medical team and our referring partners in delivering exceptional patient care.
With a strong foundation in veterinary terminology and clinical communication, Christine will coordinate timely responses to both routine and emergency referrals, ensuring that referring veterinarians have immediate access to specialty faculty when critical situations arise. She will manage incoming calls, gather, and enter detailed patient and client information into our electronic medical record system, and verify the accuracy and completeness of medical records for referred patients.
Collaboration is key in her role—whether it's working closely with the Service Excellence Client Coordinators (SECC), financial services, or front-end teams such as the call center, Client Point Persons (CPPs) and the clinical team. As the primary liaison between referring veterinarians and the Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s specialty services, Christine will ensure that all communications are clear, timely, and empathetic, supporting informed decision-making.
On her free time, Christine enjoys relaxing with her 3 cats and 2 dogs, photography, and creating art!
