Kristina is originally from Wisconsin, but moved to Colorado many years ago with her family and has never left. Growing up, she always had a home full of pets of all species, and from a young age she always knew that when she grew up, she wanted to be in the veterinary field. She spent much of her young life pet sitting and volunteering at shelters, but as time went on, she decided to make a more permanent spot in her life for a job working with animals so she attended Front Range Community College to obtain her Associate of Science followed by Colorado State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in zoology. While volunteering for a housecall veterinarian during her undergraduate, she also worked as a veterinary assistant for an animal research position at CSU.
She eventually found herself as a veterinary technician in general practice here in Fort Collins, but has been at CSU now in anesthesia since early 2021 and has loved it ever since! She strives to provide patients with the best care possible, ensuring safe anesthesia and analgesia for every procedure.
In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, walking outside, going to the gym, and spending time with her handsome senior Golden Retriever, Oscar, her two adorable cats, Ruby and Shelly, and her husband.
