About Abigail

Abigail grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She received her bachelor's degree in animal science from the University of Connecticut and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia.

After completing her rotating internship, it is her goal to pursue a residency in small animal surgery. She ultimately hopes to have a career as a surgeon in academia, where she can combine the aspects of clinical practice, teaching, and research. Outside of work she loves to lift weights, cook, attend sporting events, ski, and spend time with her fiancé and their two dogs, Zen and Athena.
