About Christine

Dr. Hardy is the associate director of operations, strategy and donor engagement at the Flint Animal Cancer Center with responsibilities including finance, donor relations, strategic operations and leading the One Cure Program for the CSU Flint Animal Cancer Center. She is a veterinarian and her primary professional interests include comparative oncology and advancing the mission of the CSU Flint Animal Cancer Center: to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in pet animals, translating our research and knowledge to also benefit people with cancer. She is also a certified veterinary acupuncturist. Prior to a career in veterinary medicine she worked as a human nutritionist and regional director in the Wyoming Public Health System and as a project manager for a health education program at Duke University. She holds a BS from James Madison University, a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned both her MBA and DVM from Colorado State University. Outside of work she enjoys life on a small horse farm, adventure travel, outdoor activities, horseback riding and stand-up paddle-boarding with her husband. Their life is enhanced is by horses, a Vietnamese potbellied pig named Miss Piggy Sue and their dogs Jessi Bean and Pepper.
