About Frankie

Frankie Carrillo-Martinez, born and raised in Denver, CO, proudly serves part of the Outreach and Engagement department for College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University as a Mentor allowing him to provide support to communities and schools around the state of Colorado by providing information and resources about Veterinary Medicine as well as the different programs that are offered at Colorado State University. Frankie is bilingual in both English and Spanish, allowing him to support Spanish-speaking communities that are interested in Veterinary Medicine regarding small animals, or those who are seeking programs at Colorado State in the future. Currently, he is in the process of obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, Anatomy and Physiology and his Bachelor of Arts in Languages, Literatures and Cultures, Spanish at Colorado State University. Frankie is also concurrently in the process of obtaining his Certificate for Spanish for Animal Health and Care Fields to learn Veterinary Medical Terminology and assist those who speak Spanish in the Veterinary Field. In addition to providing support to communities around Colorado about Veterinary Medicine and Colorado State, Frankie is also a Veterinary Assistant at Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists and provides care for small animals. Fun Fact: Frankie has 4 dogs! (Sophie, Chewy, Lolita and Chip)
