About Bryce

Dr. Talsma was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. She completed her undergraduate at Hope College before heading south to attend the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. There, she completed several rotations on the integrative medicine service where she developed a passion for orthopedics and non-surgical pain management. During her time in Florida, Dr. Talsma also obtained her certification in small animal acupuncture through Chi University. Outside of work, Dr. Talsma enjoys spending time with her two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Harper and Poppy, and her dog-like cat, Roo. When not cuddled on the couch with her furry friends, she enjoys playing pickleball, biking, water sports, and exploring all the beauty Colorado has to offer. Dr. Talsma is excited to be a part of the team at CSU, working with a great department, its clients, and its patients. She is most excited to participate in clinical research with the prospect of finding new ways to help our four-legged friends suffering from orthopedic disease.
