Anna Bracken

Dr. Bracken is a general practice equine veterinarian who grew up a self-proclaimed "barn rat" in southern California. Following her undergraduate studies at UCLA, she worked in the industry as a rider and trainer for several years before moving to Colorado to complete a graduate degree in biomedical sciences. She remained at CSU for her DVM, then returned to California to complete an internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital in Bonsall. Dr. Bracken then spent several years as an associate in an ambulatory equine practice before returning to CSU to join Equine Field Service as faculty. When she's not in the truck, Dr. Bracken can be found outdoors with her animals, or at the Ugly Pony Saloon in Ault, which she and her husband own and operate.
