About Sam

Sam Golon is a PhD student in Dr. Brad Borlee's bacteriology-focused laboratory. After working several years in the craft brewing industry in an array of roles ranging from canning logistics to managing a brewer's yeast laboratory, he returned to academics in 2022 as a PhD student in MIP. Sam's research interests center on bacterial community dynamics and inter- and intra- species molecular communication systems.
