Liza Sperry

Liza Sperry grew up Salt Lake City, Utah, where she earned her bachelor's degree in environmental biology from the University of Utah. She completed veterinary school at Washington State University through a joint regional program, spending the initial half of her training at Utah State University. Beyond her academic pursuits, Liza enjoys various outdoor activities including skiing and hiking, especially if they involve wrangling her two Labrador mixes with her husband. During veterinary school, Liza played on soccer and roller hockey teams with her classmates and ran her first marathon. Her fun fact is that she used to be a cello teacher.
