Dr. Alison Meindl graduated from the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) in 2001 with a B.S. in veterinary science and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2005. After graduation, she completed a year-long internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. She then practiced in the Phoenix, Arizona area for about 10 years before entering academia at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where she spent six years teaching veterinary students and caring for the patients of the Community Practice Clinic. While at UGA, Alison completed her board certification in canine and feline practice through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and participated in various research projects on canine proteinuria as well as veterinary student instruction.
