Jesse Cole

Graduate Research Assistant Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology

About Jesse

Jesse Cole is a dual DVM/PhD student. His research interests include reproductive physiology and infectious disease and hopes to combine these two in his graduate work/career. These interests began during his undergraduate research studying embryonic diapause in northern elephant seals and participating in necropsies to determine the cause of death in local marine mammal populations at the Long Marine Lab. He aims to integrate his DVM and PhD towards a career at the intersection of human and veterinary medicine (e.g. infectious disease). Outside of school he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking and hanging out with friends.
