About Lisa

Lisa Musca, LSW, is a veterinary social worker with the Argus Institute. Before earning her master’s degree in social work from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, Lisa worked as a veterinary assistant in emergency and specialty hospitals as well as at smaller clinics for several years. Most recently, Lisa served as an outpatient therapist at a community mental health center in Akron, Ohio. As part of the Argus team, Lisa provides support to clients as they make difficult decisions about their pets’ care and through their experiences of pet loss and grief, as well as supporting the veterinary students and professionals at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Lisa enjoys spending her free time with her fun-loving and adventurous pug, Arthur, in addition to playing the cello and piano and reading.
