Timothy Reid

Tim grew up in Delaware and started his career working as a veterinary assistant for a primary care veterinary hospital as a teenager. He later transitioned to 24-hour specialty/emergency hospitals working in surgery, critical care, and emergency departments. Tim’s passion for emergency medicine is where he began his leadership journey becoming a manager of an emergency department which progressed to him managing specialty/emergency hospitals. He has over 25 years of veterinary experience, and in addition to developing a veterinary consulting business for primary care hospitals, in recent years he’s been a director of operations for large national veterinary companies supporting specialty, emergency, and primary care hospitals. Furthermore, Tim is very passionate about the role of coach and mentor; he takes a proactive approach to leadership development and helping team members at all levels of an organization reach their goals. When Tim is not at work, he’s usually trying to take advantage of the great outdoors while simultaneously trying to keep up with his active Australian Shepherd adventure buddy, “River,” who he adopted from a rescue organization in 2020. Tim also enjoys skiing, cooking, hiking, backpacking and getting lost in a good book.
