Lindsey Memering

Originally from the Midwest, Lindsey has lived and traveled for work as an equine groomer or trainer for most of her life. She has three dogs – Meeko (an oncology patient at the VHS), Mowgli (an ophtho patient at the VHS), and Kida. Lindsey also has two horses: a 10-year-old thoroughbred named Hazel and a 1.5-year-old mustang. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, taking road trips, and creating art. In 2016, Lindsey lived in South Africa for a year, where she helped manage and care for big cats and African hoofstock animals, including assisting in raising three rescued lion cubs.
