About Michelle
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Michelle recently earned her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Microbiology and Infectious Disease from Colorado State University. During her time at CSU, Michelle was an NIH T34 MARC Scholar in the VandeWoude Lab and researched viral infections in felines. She is now continuing to expand on her capstone project, evaluating feline susceptibility to Influenza Pan A Virus. In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, thrifting, listening to her vinyl collection, and spending time with her cat, Paloma.
