About Ivy

Ivy was born and raised in Oregon. Ivy graduated from Dallas College with her Associate of Applied Science in veterinary technology in December of 2022 and passed the VTNE on the first try in April of 2024. Ivy moved to Colorado from Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband (a Norwegian helicopter pilot), and two cats (Norah and Pumpkin), and adopted a kitten (Hufsa) from NOCO Humane. She finally found the hospital that she calls home.

Ivy has 10 years of veterinary experience including ER, ICU, shelter medicine, high volume spay and neuter, feral TNR, working alongside animal control and K9 police officers, feline only, and general practice. Ivy is also a Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional (CFVP), certified through the American Association of Feline Practitioners, as well as a member. She is also Fear Free Certified, a RECOVER Basic Life Support Rescuer, and RECOVER Advanced Life Support Rescuer. Ivy believes the animal-human bond is a beautiful thing.
