The FACC offers multidisciplinary clinical services, veterinary and graduate student education, and has a robust basic science group who studies cancer in all species. The center also has a dedicated clinical trials program as well as biorepository to bridge the gap between lab and clinic.
Dr. Lana is currently director of the Flint Animal Cancer Center Biorepository program which collects biologic specimens for future research from veterinary patients with cancer. She also provides clinic coverage in the multidisciplinary cancer care clinic within the Veterinary Health System.
