Cooper Hess

I am a first year Ph.D. student, originally from Iowa and an alumni of Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!). I have an interest in the innate immune system, and potential applications for innate immune memory. I also have a broader interest in novel disease prevention methods in humans and large animals. Previously, I was an ORISE post-baccalaureate at the National Animal Disease Center in Ames, IA.
