About Naomi

Naomi Hoyer grew up outside of Denver, Colorado, and graduated with her DVM from Colorado State University in 2002. She worked in private practice, both in California and Colorado, for 10 years prior to entering a dental residency program. She has been working and living in Fort Collins since 2006. She is excited to be a part of the Dentistry and Oral Surgery service here at Colorado State University. She is passionate about dental education for veterinary students, residents and recent veterinary school graduates. Her professional interests include long-term management of periodontal disease, management of dental disease with concurrent illnesses and multimodal pain control. Away from the hospital, Naomi enjoys spending time hiking, running, skiing, biking, camping and enjoying Colorado with her husband and two daughters. She also has three dogs and five chickens!
