Cherie Ouellet

Cherie earned her Associate of Applied Science in veterinary technology from Tomball College in May 2000, and began her career at a large private specialty practice in Houston, Texas, where she worked in the surgery department. Cherie’s experience spans clinical floor work, assisting in clinical study trials, and supporting a variety of specialty surgeries in the operating room. In 2017, she achieved her Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in surgery and has continued to develop her leadership skills. She recently completed her bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology at Tarleton State University in May 2024, becoming a veterinary technologist.

Cherie is passionate about supporting the growth of veterinary technicians and elevating specialty career paths. She is dedicated to advancing her knowledge in veterinary medicine and helping technicians achieve their individual goals, striving to promote excellence within the profession. Cherie enjoys hiking and biking with her husband Corey and shelties, Kit and Kiko!
