About Nikki

Nikki is a Colorado native who has been passionate about working with animals from a young age. She began her career in veterinary medicine as a kennel technician while still in high school and earned an associate degree in animal science from Bel-Rea Institute in 2007.

Since then, Nikki has built her career in small animal practice, gaining experience in a variety of clinical settings. She spent several years in primary care before joining the CSU team in 2022 to be closer to family and continue growing professionally.

Nikki has a special interest in preventive care and enjoys working on health certificates to help ensure pets can travel safely and meet required regulations. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care and to building strong relationships with both patients and their owners.

Outside of work, Nikki enjoys spending time outdoors in the mountains, helping family and friends with their alpaca farm, reading, and spending time with her pets.
