About Kathryn

Dr. Wotman completed a Large Animal Internal Medicine residency, followed by a residency in Veterinary Ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine and New Bolton Center. She stayed as clinical faculty in Large Animal Ophthalmology at Penn’s New Bolton Center, while working at the Veterinary Specialty Clinic of Delaware as a small animal ophthalmologist for 6 years. She then joined the Ophthalmology team at Colorado State University as an Assistant Professor in Comparative Ophthalmology. Her areas of clinical interest and research include equine ophthalmology, neoplasia with a focus on equine ocular squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), ocular pain management, corneal disease, glaucoma, and ocular manifestations of systemic disease.
