About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Esdaile is a first year combined DVM-PhD student. She is in the process of completing rotations and selecting a mentor.

Her Masters research included evaluating genetic diversity in horses and genetic investigations into equine coat color phenotypes. After completing her Masters, she worked as a lab manager and research coordinator for the Bellone Research Group at the UCD Veterinary Genetics Laboratory. Additional research projects during that time included identification of disease causing variants and estimations of disease causing allele frequencies within breeds.
