About Sophie
Sophie is from Waterloo, IL, a small rural town in Southern Illinois. She is a student hourly employee in for Small Animal Internal Medicine and a student at Colorado State University majoring in biomedical sciences with a concentration in anatomy and physiology. She is studying to achieve her goal of becoming a veterinarian. She's always had a special place in her heart for animals, and she's worked in a veterinary clinic since she was 16.
She's interested in working with both small and large animals as a general practitioner. Outside of school and veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending time outdoors and attending country music concerts. She's so excited for the opportunity to work with the SAIM team and make connections that will last a lifetime. She hopes to gain valuable skills in this position that she will carry with her throughout the rest of her career!
