About Quinn
Quinn Pogge is a post-baccalaureate research assistant working under the mentorship of Dr. Casey Gries, studying the roles that proteins GdpP and Gdps play in cyclic di-adenosine monophosphate (c-di-AMP) regulation in Staphylococcus aureus. He originally worked as an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. Katriana Popichak's lab, identifying neuroinflammatory impacts of Semaglutide treatment in-vitro.
As a PREP fellow, he is actively seeking out Ph.D programs in the fields of bacteriology, molecular biology, and/or genetics, potentially continuing his research with S. aureus. Apart from academia, Quinn enjoys volleyball, snowboarding, eSports, and spending time with his partner and their cat.
