About Stephanie

Stephanie Dalager is the counselor and wellness coordinator for interns, residents and fellows at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She is honored to support interns, residents and fellows in navigating the unique demands of this period in their careers and to play a part in building a more connected community for this group. Stephanie moved to Colorado in 2015 to pursue her M.S. in human development and family studies with a specialization in marriage and family therapy at Colorado State University. Since that time she has worked in both outpatient clinic and private practice settings. Over the course of her career as a therapist, Stephanie has focused on helping professionals navigate the impact of their work and build their personal and professional resilience. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys all things outdoors especially, getting her hands dirty in the garden, exploring the world through the eyes of her toddler, and trail running with her herding mix rescue dog, Potato.
