About Ahmed

Ahmed Elkashif earned his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in December 2025. His research background spans viral immunology and preclinical vaccine development, as well as antimicrobial drug discovery with a particular focus on multidrug-resistant bacterial infections. Ahmed's research interest centers around infectious disease immunology and vaccine development.
