Originally from Colorado, Dr. Ahern graduated with a D.V.M. from Colorado State University in 2024. Following this, she worked at a 24-hour emergency practice in Denver. Dr. Ahern has been involved in USCA/SV conformation and AKC performance events with her West German Showline German Shepherd since 2017. Medically, her interests include reproductive physiology, genetic disorders and heritability, and stud dog management, among others.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Ahern enjoys exploring the Rocky Mountains with her dogs Mojo and Kenai. Dr. Ahern is looking forward to joining the CSU Small Animal Reproduction service and sharing her passion for reproduction and purebred dogs with others.
