Dr. Frank earned his BSc degree in Animal Sciences in 1995, from the Faculty of Agriculture, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. In 1999 he graduated his DVM degree from the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and in 2000 he completed a year of an internship program in small animal medicine, surgery and intensive care at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the Koret School of Veterinary medicine, Israel. Recently he retired from service after 15 years as the Chief Veterinarian of Special Operations Military Working Dogs Unit, in order to dedicate three years to the residency training program in Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation at CSU. On his leisure time Ilan enjoys mountain biking, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife, three kids and his dog – "Molly", a retired Search & Rescue Military Working Dog.
