Volunteering gives undergraduate students and others in the community a chance to benefit from the hospital’s resources and experience working with animals.
Volunteers are placed if a need arises within a service and your skills and interest match. A submitted application will be placed on file and a hospital team member will reach out to you if your application is selected. We appreciate your time and interest!
Requirements
- Minimum three month commitment to volunteering
- Minimum 10 hours per month, typically during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
- Minimum age of 16 (applicants under 18 years of age require consent from a parent/guardian)
- Personal health insurance
- Successful completion of a background check if your application is selected
