About Ariel

Ariel Timkovich is a 3rd year Microbiology PhD student. Ariel originally joined the Santangelo lab in 2014 as an undergraduate research assistant and completed her honors thesis in 2017. She came back to the lab in 2018 to start her PhD research on the pathogenesis of different mouse models of post-traumatic osteoarthritis. When Ariel's not doing research, you can find her hanging out with her dog Shadow or competing on the local Hunter/Jumper circuit with her horse Ozzie!
