Christy Tomcik Walker

Christy moved to lovely Colorado in 2012 and has been working in urgent care at the VTH since then. She graduated from San Diego Mesa College with an associate degree and went on to get her bachelor's degree in equine science from Cal Poly Pomona. After discovering a love for emergency and critical care, Christy went on to obtain her veterinary technician specialty in emergency critical care in 2010. She has a special interest in trauma, transfusion medicine, and toxicities. In her off time, Christy likes to hang out with her husband and their five mischief-maker cats.
