Chilinh Nguyen is a postdoctoral fellow in the Foy lab. She obtained her B.S. from the University of Notre Dame where she studied mosquito salivary gland development in Dr. Molly Duman-Scheel’s laboratory. Following this, she was a graduate student in Dr. Brian Foy’s lab at CSU. Her dissertation project was focused on developing ivermectin-treated bird feed to control West Nile virus transmission by targeting the main mosquito vector in the western US, Culex tarsalis. Chilinh has continued as a postdoc in the Foy lab, where she is further developing this project in collaboration with the CDC.
