About Trisha

Trisha Roy completed her PhD in May 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Amit Misra, from the CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute in Lucknow, India, where her research focused on the role of Suppressors of Cytokine Signaling (SOCS) in Mycobacterium tuberculosis-infected macrophages.

Now, as a postdoc in the Henao-Tamayo Lab, she is investigating the protective mechanisms imparted by candidate vaccines and non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) in the context of Mtb infection. Her aim is to contribute to the development of more effective TB interventions. When not dissecting the complexities of immune responses, you can find her indulging in spicy food, diving into thriller novels or planning to learn a learn a new language.
