[email protected]About Chasity
Chasity joined the Ebel lab in 2022 to work on vaccine development for tick-borne encephalitic viruses. She earned her B.S. and Ph.D. in Molecular Biosciences from Washington State University. Her previous and current research is focused on understanding how host immune responses to arboviral infection can be targeted in the development of novel therapeutics. Her goal is to utilize a multidisciplinary approach to identify molecular and biological factors that contribute to disease, evaluate how broad- and species-specific responses impact the evolution of disease, and generate novel therapeutics or interventions that target said responses.
