Shannon AutenVeterinary Technology II Urgent Care Nurse Veterinary Teaching Hospital
Shannon is originally from Indiana. She went to tech school in Fort Wayne, IN and graduated with an associate degree in 2008. She worked in general practice for three years, and then worked as an emergency and critical care technician at Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital for six years. Shannon has been living in Colorado and working in the urgent care department at CSU since 2017. She is currently pursuing her specialty certification in ECC. Her areas of interest include shock, dystocia, neonatal medicine, teaching, and chihuahuas! Shannon owns a perfect, 15-year-old chihuahua/rat terrier mix named Niblet, who makes up the majority of her world.
