About Drew

Drew is a large animal veterinary surgeon and biomedical scientist in the Preclinical Surgical Research Laboratory at Colorado State University’s Translational Medicine Institute. He completed his D.V.M. and large animal surgery residency (ACVS) at Colorado State University and his Ph.D. in comparative biomedical sciences at North Carolina State University. His research interests include the role of stromal cells in the progression of musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries and diseases and the development and refinement of in vitro and large animal disease models for their study.
