DEANNA Worley
Professor, Surgical Oncology Clinical SciencesAbout DEANNA
Professor, Surgical Oncology, Animal Cancer Center. Being charged with clinical service, research, and teaching commitments, it is a tremendous privilege to pursue each challenge fully, and oftentimes integrated. My clinical activities focus on providing the best comprehensive surgical oncologic care to small animal patients presenting to the VTH while also translating the lessons learned in practice to surgical peers, colleagues, and students. My research goals are to define lymphatic circulation and physiology as it relates to cancer treatment and metastasis, explore lymphatic-targeting chemotherapy, and develop techniques to lessen surgical trauma, for both human and animal benefit.
