Graduation from an accredited institution is a standard prerequisite for licensure for professional veterinary practice.
Colleges of veterinary medicine are accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education. The Colorado State University Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program is fully accredited, with the last site visit occurring in 2015. The next site visit will occur in 2022.
