Dr. Choi earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Science in Veterinary Clinical Science from Seoul National University, where she developed a strong interest in small animal internal medicine. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, before joining Colorado State University as an internal medicine resident. Her professional interests include the diagnosis and management of complex medical conditions.
