Sasha Foster

Small Animal Rehabilitation Coordinator Veterinary Teaching Hospital

About Sasha

Sasha is a human physical therapist certified in canine rehabilitation. She came to CSU VTH in 2012 as the rehabilitation coordinator to build the human model of rehabilitation in the veterinary teaching hospital. Today this model is alive and thriving. As pets in critical care, oncology, orthopedics, neurology, and internal medicine receive their medical treatments, they may also receive physical therapy to improve their function so they can return home feeling and moving their best. It is Sasha’s mission to provide every patient with compassionate, evidence-based treatments using only gentle handling techniques. She has a special fondness for treating small pets with big attitudes, writing poems for pets, and singing special songs to the animals including, the as yet unpublished, “Oh doggie, you are so pretty!”
