About Laura
Laura (she/her) is a first year PhD student interested in the ecology of infectious diseases. This year she will be working in the Sue VandeWoude Research Group on a project investigating cross species transmission and nondomestic felid susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 in humans. Laura graduated from Middlebury College in 2017 with a major in Biology. She is passionate about science, the outdoors, and social and environmental justice.
