About Marika

After growing up in Central New York, my academic interests have taken me on a Westward journey from undergraduate at University of Wisconsin, to veterinary school at University of Minnesota, and finally clinical pathology residency and PhD training here at CSU. I love thinking about the cellular bases of disease, and my research background and primary areas of interest are in cancer biology/immunology, cell signaling, and pharmacology. When not behind the microscope, I enjoy hiking, biking, camping, attempting to rock climb, and experimenting in the kitchen.
