About Andy

I was born and raised in sunny southern California in the Los Angeles area. I completed my undergraduate degree at Cal Poly Pomona and went on to obtain my DVM from UC Davis. My interest in pathology began to take shape early on in veterinary school and I was beyond excited to move to Colorado for the combined anatomic pathology residency/PhD program at CSU. I have a particular interest in wild and exotic species and plan to study infectious diseases in wildlife for my PhD. I consider myself a mediocre snowboarder, yoga enthusiast, and indoor plant hoarder. On work-free days, I am often hiking and exploring with my canine co-pilot Sirius, spending time with friends and family or spoiling my floofy feline Waffles.
