About Meghan

Meghan Schmidt has been a certified veterinary technician since 2003. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology and animal range science. After graduation Meghan accepted a position where she did her internship as a small animal technician in Grand Junction, Colorado. In 2006 she decided to move to Fort Collins, Colorado to help expand her career in emergency medicine and small animal dentistry. Meghan joined the community practice team at the veterinary teaching hospital in 2014 and has loved helping teach and work with the veterinary students. In her time off Meghan enjoys spending time going on adventures with her husband, daughter, and their sweet Welsh springer spaniel pup named Buck, or as their daughter calls him, Buck-O.
