About Tabitha

Dr. Sternberg-Allen was born and raised in England, and with parents as horse trainers, has been around horses her whole life. Growing up, she competed in a plethora of disciplines, from local pony club activities, all the way to western all-around and reining at the international level - this sparked a passion for sports medicine and the equine athlete from an early age. She attended veterinary school at the Royal Veterinary College, London, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine in 2022.

Following this, Dr. Sternberg-Allen moved stateside to complete an equine rotating internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital in Oklahoma, focusing on sports medicine and surgery, and further confirming her interests in this field. After this, she undertook a seasonal equine internship at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital in Australia, solidifying her foundations as an equine practitioner before joining CSU as a resident in Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2024. In her free time, Dr. Sternberg-Allen enjoys riding her horse, hiking with her dog, and skiing in the winter.
