About Romain

Romain Martin is a small animal surgery resident at Colorado State University. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Paris, France. Following graduation, he completed a rotating small animal internship at the University of Montreal in Quebec, Canada, followed by a surgery-focused internship at a VCA specialty hospital in Montreal. Romain's clinical interests center on soft tissue surgery, particularly minimally invasive surgery. His residency research focuses on advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques and evaluating their clinical applications in veterinary surgery.

Outside of the hospital, Romain enjoys exploring the outdoors with his chocolate Labrador retriever, Phoenix, as well as travelling and discovering new places throughout the United States.
