Greg PughGraduate Assistant Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology
Greg is a Ph.D. student in the Foy Lab. After his Honorable Discharge from the Marine Corps in 2016, Greg set his sights on going back to school studying infectious diseases. Early in his academic career, Greg focused his research on the Mesoamerican Reef system in Roatan and Utila, Honduras, and microbiome research on C. eleganes. Greg's graduate studies revolve around ivermectin and its effect on various mosquito species. When Greg is not sitting at the lab bench or in the insectary, he enjoys fishing, spending time with friends and family, and playing Dungeons & Dragons.
